Phantom Screens come in a variety of standard powder-coated colors to match your finishes, each of which meet AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) 2604 standards. Phantom Screens has partnered with Somfy® to provide a wide range of remote controls and sensors for Phantom's motorized screens. Some of Phantom's motorized screens come with Somfy's Maestria™ 50 RTS motor. This offers smart functions such as obstacle detection and automatic adjustment, which protect carrier products, prevent fabric damage, and ensure perfect tension. In addition, Phantom's motorized screens can be integrated into most home automation systems, including Lutron®, Crestron®, and smartphone devices.

Sun and wind sensors
Max out your home's energy efficiency by installing environmental sensors that will lower or retract your screens depending on the temperature. Separately, a wind sensor will automatically retract your screens if the weather is getting gusty.
Hand-held Remotes
Click a button, and watch your screens roll down. Or up. Then back down again. These hand-held remotes are available in single or multiple channel versions, meaning each channel can be used to operate one screen or a group of screens at the same time.
Wall Switch
Don't need another remote? A wall switch is always where you left it. They're completely wireless, battery powered and available in white.

Where do motorized retractable screens work best?
Motorized screens are designed for large or hard-to-reach openings—covered patios, pergolas, outdoor living rooms, and wide multi-panel doors—where a manual screen would be impractical. At the touch of a button the screen lowers for shade, insect protection, and privacy, then retracts fully out of sight.
How are motorized screens controlled?
They’re powered by quiet, durable motors (such as Somfy) and can be operated by remote, wall switch, smartphone app, or voice assistant. Optional wind and sun sensors can raise or lower the screen automatically to protect it in gusty conditions.
Do motorized screens block my view?
No. When you don’t need them, motorized screens retract completely into a low-profile housing, leaving your view unobstructed. When extended, the mesh preserves outward visibility while cutting glare, heat, and insects.
